"wish necklaces" that make great gifts. They place different charms on silk thread, and the the thread naturally begins to wear away. When the thead finally breaks, it is said your 'wish' comes true. Although it may seem like you're spending your money on a necklace that's not made to last, you're correct. The concept is interesting though... keeps things up in the air. It's like one day you have a great, delicate necklace... and the next it's gone. The catch is you can't really get mad, because it means your wish came true. Ohhh it's a catch 22. Oh yeah, and they're eco-friendly so you REALLY can't get mad it's breaks off.
