Finding a comfortable heel can be a daunting task. I'm 5'10" so that's not a huge deal to me, because when I walk in heels it's like watching a dog walk on its hind legs (as Damian from Mean Girls so eloquently put it). The trick to finding a comfy, high heel is looking for a covered platform. That's why Christian Louboutin's heels have been so popular. They offer height, comfort, style, and a covered platform without getting trashy. If you'd rather not shell out the equivalent to the price of a Kia, you can find a similar heel at Victoria's Secret. Colin Stuart has a variety of covered plaform heels, like these Stitched Pumps for $68.
If that doesn't work, maybe you should get gellin' with Dr. Scholls High Heel Insoles and rub your feet with the Band-Aid foot stick.

Well Don't You Look...TAN?
I love being tan. It's great. Just me and my tan... Oh, I mean my FAKE tan. I fooled you all. Jergens Natural Glow Express is amazing. It comes in two tones, but works incredibly fast. For the best results, put on another moisturizer before you use it, then lather it on so it blends more easily. It's great, give it a try.
Stay Organized.
Using a flash drive is a common occurance in today's world. Keeping up with your flash drive is another story. I've had this Swiss Army "Swish Flash" on my keychain for about 3 years. Besides being a handy Swiss Army Knife, it also has a detachable flash drive. They range from 1 GB to 16 GB, and come in a variety of styles.

Well Don't You Look Pretty?
I have always been an avid Bobbi Brown Cosmetics user. One of my favorite products is their Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner ($21), that is offered in 17 different shades. I love it, it lasts forever, and people are constantly asking me who or how I did my eye-liner. Usually I just say I'm an experienced make-up artists and no one can compete with my skills.... or not. More recently, I was browsing Target on a Sunday afternoon and ran across one of Target's designer make-up lines. The Pixi line at Target is also carrying a gel liner, but for $18 instead. It may only come in three colors, but if you want a different gel liner color just go check out Bobbi Brown. Hey, and that three dollar difference can get you a coffee at Starbucks, and we're all looking to save a buck, right? Sure. Well Don't You Look Pretty?
Well Don't You Look Pretty?
Some of us have heard of putting baby powder in your hair to absorb excess oils and to give your hair a quick cleaning without getting wet. Well several companies have come out with a "baby powder" for you hair, but in your actual hair color. Now, brunettes won't end up looking gray headed from the baby powder. Bumble and Bumble has this new Hair Powder, made for all shades of hair. Although a bit pricey, at $35, it will allow you to perform a "dry cleanse" on your locks.
Fashion in Your Face! Compliment Your Bootie...
Wearing tights with booties is a great concept. Here, J.Crew has paired their Herringbone tights ($22, JCrew.com) with their Metropolitan Booties in Birch. The tights subtly give texture to the outfit. Wearing a short skirt or shorts (as pictured) is a must, the more leg the better with booties. You do not want to look stubby.
Note: If you have thicker ankles, booties may not be for you. Just helping you out before you splurge.

I have mixed feelings about booties, but they are here so I better get use to them. The booties pictured to the left are by Martin + Osa for $220.
Then my favorite pair are J. Crew's Metropolitan Ankle Booties in Birch (pictured below) for $250. They also have a built-in platform to offer more height and comfort.

Now to get more bootie for your buck, go to Target and check out Mossimo's Valentina Peep-Toe Bootie for $26.99.

J. Crew designed and provided a number of amazing outfits and accessories for Michelle Obama during the presidential election. These gloves seen pictures are by J. Crew, and now almost a year later they're available to the public. Cashmere lined and offered in a variety of colors (I'm partial to green), the leather gloves are offered online at JCrew.com for $88.
Well Don't Your Feet Look Pretty?
It's always a daunting task to switch from summery sandals to close-toed shoes when the weather starts getting cooler. Band-Aid Brand has just come out with a new stick that you rub on your feet in the places prone to getting blisters. It's better than putting an unsightly bandage in it's place and waiting a week for your feet to heal so you can get a pedicure. Been there... recently.
