It's a-me, Mario!

I've always (when it's available.. so technically I'm lying about always) used Mario Badescu facial soap and toner.  The brand is more famous for their drying lotion you can put on blemishes to get rid of in a jiffy.  After spending about 45 minutes in Ulta buying miscellaneous beauty products I didn't need and/or Christmas gifts, I was surprised to see they carried Mario Badescu.

Eagerly, I grabbed the soap I wanted to get on my merry way.  Then.... I saw OTHER products he offered.  Like, the soap that actually fit my skin type versus the one the Nordstrom's sales clerk told me to buy (what does she know).  Then I thought a facial mask would be good since my skin's been acting a ruckus lately.  I bought the Whitening Mask ($24), because it reduces redness, unclogs pores, and makes your skin super bright.
I could go on about all the magical powers Mario put in their, but I don't really know what I'm talking about.  All I know is that it works; after the second time I used it my face looked so clean and shiny, and all the little spots on my face that bothered me were not as noticeable.

You can get it online at www.mariobadescu.com, and they send a TON of free samples with it.  It's awesome.

Well Don't You Look...TAN?

I love being tan.  It's great.  Just me and my tan... Oh, I mean my FAKE tan.  I fooled you all.  Jergens Natural Glow Express is amazing.  It comes in two tones, but works incredibly fast.  For the best results, put on another moisturizer before you use it, then lather it on so it blends more easily.  It's great, give it a try.

Well Don't You Look Pretty?

I have always been an avid Bobbi Brown Cosmetics user.  One of my favorite products is their Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner  ($21), that is offered in 17 different shades.  I love it, it lasts forever, and people are constantly asking me who or how I did my eye-liner.  Usually I just say I'm an experienced make-up artists and no one can compete with my skills.... or not.  More recently, I was browsing Target on a Sunday afternoon and ran across one of  Target's designer make-up lines.  The Pixi line at Target is also carrying a gel liner, but for $18 instead. It may only come in three colors, but if you want a different gel liner color just go check out Bobbi Brown.  Hey, and that three dollar difference can get you a coffee at Starbucks, and we're all looking to save a buck, right? Sure.

Well Don't You Look Pretty?

Christian Siriano has a new make-up line for Victoria's Secret.  He has styled an array of bronzers and eye-shadows that look like designer make-up.  The colors are bold and edgy.  Prices range from $12-$18.  Those are some fierce prices!

Well Don't You Look Pretty?

Some of us have heard of putting baby powder in your hair to absorb excess oils and to give your hair a quick cleaning without getting wet.  Well several companies have come out with a "baby powder" for you hair, but in your actual hair color.  Now, brunettes won't end up looking gray headed from the baby powder.  Bumble and Bumble has this new Hair Powder, made for all shades of hair.  Although a bit pricey, at $35, it will allow you to perform a "dry cleanse" on your locks.

Well Don't Your Feet Look Pretty?

It's always a daunting task to switch from summery sandals to close-toed shoes when the weather starts getting cooler.  Band-Aid Brand has just come out with a new stick that you rub on your feet in the places prone to getting blisters.  It's better than putting an unsightly bandage in it's place and waiting a week for your feet to heal so you can get a pedicure.  Been there... recently.

Go to OPI.com and then click on the "Try on This Color" link at the top of the page.  You can view an array of their nail colors on your hand.  You can adjust the skin tone of the hand and the nail length.  Ingenious!
